Firelight will close for business on Friday 22 December 2017 and reopen again on the 8th January 2018.

See delivery cut-off dates below and plan in advance as it is best that you ensure that your order is placed beforehand as the courier services are normally inundated during the festive season.

If not, please note that we can’t not guarantee delivery dates and time on deliveries. We will always try our best but it will depend on the couriers.

Courier Rates within New Zealand

Our items are either very heavy or very delicate and therefore we make considerable effort to ensure they are packaged and shipped to reach you quickly and in perfect condition.   

  • Orders up to $150 = $10
  • Orders between $151-$100 = $14.95
  • Orders between $201-$399 = $19.95
  • Orders over $400 = $29.95

  • We ship to anywhere in New Zealand.
  • Where possible we ship orders the next business day from our Auckland based location (orders made on Friday will ship Monday). We can’t do any time deliveries – couriers will collect and deliver when they are in the area.
  • Orders are shipped by Courier Post, unless other service is requested which will incur an extra cost to the customer.
  • Courier Post service normally takes 2-3 business days. Please allow for 3 – 5 working days for delivery to some regional, rural areas (3-7 working days for the South Island regional and rural areas) depending on the time of year.

Days around Public Holidays and Valentine’s day; Mother’s and Father’s day is usually causes couriers to be extremely inundated so please ensure you place your orders early. See ‘Peak Period Delivery and December Cut Off Dates’ for more information.

  • Let’s get it right the first time

Deliveries are by signature:  Please help us to do a perfect delivery for you by checking that someone is at home or work to receive your delivery.

If no-one is home a calling card will be left. If you choose to have it delivered by non-signature please note that Firelight will not take responsibility for any loss or damage to your parcel.

 

IMPORTANT NOTE: You should select the correct shipping options or your order may not be fulfilled and your money will be refunded:-

    • If your address is rural; or
    • Your parcel for your order is to be heavy.  Every 5kg incur another $10 where it comes to the heavy boxes of lamp oil or fuel cells.

We will email you first in case you’d prefer to add an online payment to make up for the shortfall.

  • Auckland

Auckland Overnight – must order before 3pm (Monday to Thursday only) 

Auckland Saturday delivery – order before 3pm Friday night

Auckland Rural delivery - must order before 3pm (Monday to Thursday only).  See ‘Rural Delivery’ for more information.

  • North Island

Overnight - Order before 3pm the day before (Monday to Thursday only)   

Overnight - Parcels weighing 10kg and over  Order before 3pm the day before (Monday to Thursday only)

South Island Overnight delivery - Order before 3pm (Monday to Wednesday only)  NZ $10.00 per each parcel weigh up to 5kg each

  • Rural Delivery

  •  Peak Period Delivery

In peak periods such as Christmas we will endeavour to have your parcel delivered on the requested delivery date, however due to courier delays and circumstances outside of our control we cannot guarantee delivery dates at these times of year. Peak periods are Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and Christmas. 

In the month of December we can’t not guarantee delivery dates and time deliveries. We will always try our best but it will depend on the couriers.

 

Cut off dates for the 2017 Christmas peak period!

 

Rural deliveries – All rural deliveries must be sent out by Friday the 15th December to be delivered in time for Christmas. If sent out after this time we can’t guarantee delivery in time for Christmas.

South Island – All South Island deliveries must be placed before 15th December for the Standard delivery service and 21st December for the Overnight delivery service to guarantee delivery in time for Christmas. In the month of December we will be allowing 2-3 days for delivery on the Standard delivery service and 2 days for the overnight delivery service.

North Island – All North Island deliveries must be placed before the 20st December to guarantee delivery in time for Christmas. Over the month of December we will be allowing 1-2 days for delivery.

Auckland – Please allow 1-2 days for delivery on the overnight delivery for the month of December.

Business deliveries - need to be booked in before 5pm on the 15th December to guarantee delivery on the same day delivery service. If after this time we will check with the couriers and if they can’t get your delivery to the business address before 5pm we will call you for a home address. We can’t do any time deliveries on this service in the month of December.

 

  • If you have not received your order within two weeks, or if you have any other questions regarding your transaction, please contact us at admin@firelight.co.nz  

Please be sure to provide your name, email address, and the date of your purchase when requesting an update. We answer emails Mon-Fri during business hours. Please be patient when requesting information over the weekend.

 

Website Prices

All prices include GST, unless otherwise stated.  Prices are subject to change without notice.  Should a price change apply to your order we will advise prior to dispatch. These prices are effective for this Firelight Glass Boutique only.  Other agents may adopt other prices.  

Damages

Goods damaged in transit will be replaced at no cost to you.  Return the parcel complete for replacement within 7 days of invoice date.  Freight charges may apply.  

Guarantee

Candles are crafted within the limits of the arts represented.  Candle reservoirs are guaranteed with the exception of damages by misuse or abuse.  We will replace candles found defective in materials and/or workmanship.

RETURNS ON SALE ITEMS

Please consider your sale purchases carefully.    All sale items are final sale.  This means we do not offer refunds or exchanges on sale items.

RETURNS OF FULL PRICE ITEMS

Your complete satisfaction is our utmost priority. If you are not 100% satisfied for any reason, we will gladly accept returns of packages within 7 days of the order date and issue a full refund of the product cost.

We will pay for the return shipping of any product that we have sent in error.

If you have purchased something and wish to return it due to your change of mind, then it is up to you to organise shipping and pay for the shipping costs associated with sending it back to us. All we ask is that the product is not used or expired, is in the same condition you received it in, including the original box.

How to Make a Return

Please contact us directly to discuss any refund so we have a chance to put it right. We are here to help.

Once the parcel has been received at our warehouse, we will process the return and confirm by email when the funds have been placed back on your credit card used for the order.
